After actress Aishwarya Rai dumped Madhur Bhandarkar’s most ambitious project ‘Heroine’, the film is once again back on track. Ash has been replaced by Kareena Kapoor and the pre-production of the film has started from 22nd September 2011.
Film maker Madhur Bhandarkar, recently tweeted that the pre-production of the movie has started and has asked for everyone’s blessings and prayers. The first look of the movie that was earlier being shot with Aishwarya, was stalled due to the pregnancy of the actress.
But by that time the production had already spent four crores on the movie after which the movie was stalled. The production UTV had also released a statement which had said that the shoot of the movie has been stalled as the lead actress was supposed to smoke, run and be under the waterfall and they wanted to give more priority to the health of the actress.
The name of the lead character is Mahi Khanna, who was once a popular actress in the film industry. The story of the movie is slightly based on the real life divas like Marilyn Monroe and Madhubala.
