Renault Koleos SUV launched in India (Rs 22.99 lakh)

Renault India on Thursday launched its sport utility vehicle (SUV) Koleos, priced at Rs. 22.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The SUV is the company’s second vehicle in the Indian market after the sedan ‘Fluence’, which was launched in May.
“The new Koleos will make its world debut a few days from now at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We are highly optimistic about the product.” Renault India Managing Director Marc Nassif said.
The Koleos is powered by a 2 litre diesel engine and is available in four-wheel drive option with six speed automatic transmission.
Renault is investing Rs. 4,500 crore with its alliance partner Nissan in Chennai for a manufacturing plant that would have an installed capacity of four lakh units a year.
